September 8, 2020
- Students should sign in before class starts, to be in the waiting room on time.(During passing periods is recommended).
- Teachers will use the same link/meeting code every day.(Unless otherwise stated by the teacher)
- Be sure you are following the correct daily schedule.
- Students should check Canvas daily for directions and schedule changes.
- Please select a proper work location during virtual class time.(Sitting or lying in bed is not appropriate).
- School appropriate attire should be worn during virtual class time.
- Students should complete and submit assignments on time.
- Assignments and homework are to be completed BEFORE class begins on the day it is due unless told otherwise by the teacher.
- If students are not attending class in real time, clear expectations for attendance will be given regarding due dates for assignments.
- If students are having trouble logging in they should (1) email the teacher; (2) email the Technology Coach or (3) call the Help Desk @446-0257 so they can possibly help during the class period.
- Parents are asked not to participate or try to communicate with teachers during the virtual lessons.
- Please mute your audio throughout the lesson unless you are asking a question, or if you are participating in the class discussion. This helps prevent feedback with the sound.
- Students should use the chat to ask the teacher a private question or if you need to use the restroom etc.
- Pets should not be in the room while students are in their virtual class.
- Students are expected to be visible on screen throughout the class each day. If possible, it is best to have a second device so while you are working on the IPad the teacher can still see you and interact. If you don’t have another device, that is okay.
